moonbow 2008.04.19

Tonight was another excellent night for moonbow. As with each time the moon gets full and conditions are favorable , i look for moonbows. I can usually see it first from my street, then a friend and i drove to road 250, a mountain road connecting Kamuela (Waimea) to Hawi. There along the road the view over empty rolling hills is unobstructed. The moonbow was bright enough for us to see colors. The images above were taken with a Canon A610 Digital Camera at : iso 200, f2.8, shutter @ 5 – 6 seconds.
